To Catch the Right Moment!!

The waiting game is a very real thing. Laying in wait with your finger on the trigger is an absolute must. I am filled with such joy when I wait and wait...… and wait some more and I catch a genuine look of love between 2 people. If your arm begins to cramp my advice is hold it just a little bit longer. That moment is quick but its definitely coming.

Just recently I was at a wedding and there was such a feeling of love in the air and in the eyes of the family gathered to celebrate together. I looked around and sitting in the middle of it all there was palpable joy radiating through me. I was ready for what I knew I had to do. I shook out my arm to get the blood flowing because I was going to hold my position until that moment I want comes in front of my lens.

There are times where it would feel better to put your camera down and just observe the room to see where the most activity is happening. But its the quiet corners where you don't think its anything special that you stumble across a smile between 2 old friends that haven't seen each other in years and all the only necessary exchange between them is that initial smile. That right there, is something that drives me. Catching the right moment.
